Testimonials
The Somerset location for GSLA is truly amazing. I was very nervous at first having my son starting daycare but they’ve made my experience well worth it. Ms. Laura and Ms. Nikki are truly amazing! They help teach my son different things. They’re truly appreciated! As well as Ms. Star. I’m grateful for her always helping me whenever I have questions.

From 8-05-2023. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The Somerset location is the worst and your children are not in the best of care. There is favoritism most of the staff can’t speak English. One of the women has to constantly translate for most of them between other staff and parents because we don’t understand them. So the majority of the day they can’t speak or understand the children they are “caring” for and neither can our children. Some of the staff don’t even seem like staff, but stragglers or family members of the staff just hanging out. A very unsafe and unsecured environment. The Director Shante is even worse, extremely unprofessional and when you speak to her about any issues she ALWAYS feigns ignorance and places all blame on the teachers. She partakes in much gossip and openly bad mouths employees that she doesn’t like. There isn’t any structure or organization whatsoever. I’ve called to speak to the person above her to complain about their behavior towards some of the children which has been unlawful and an endangerment to the welfare of the children and weeks later I am still waiting for a callback that was promised. Apparently they are aware of the situation at this location and don’t care. I will be addressing my concerns with the State instead. These other positive reviews are being made to receive a discount. I don’t care about their discount I care about how my child is being treated while I am away at work, which as of late has been very worrisome after overhearing a parent express that their child is being restricted and excluded from the other children when they don’t want to be bothered with the child. Don’t believe the reviews unless of course you speak another language. By the way they also want you to keep your credit cards on autopay, but that has been a disaster. They take payments that you’ve already made and don’t give you your money back. I’ve never seen a practice like this or one that was mandated. This place is not being run by professionals at all. What you see on the website is a joke and false advertisement at its finest.

Very responsible and Trustworthy staff. I have both my kids at Growing seeds and I couldn’t be happier with the way they treat them and with how much they have learned. The teachers post tons of picture and videos throughout the day so I know what they do each day and they are always so happy to spend the day at the center. 100% recommend.

I am writing this review as parent seeking care. I reached out to the school & spoke with either the director or owner she was great and very sweet on the phone. I had to reschedule my tour due to personal reasons . I had reached out to schedule my tour and it took a week to get a response back … finally got a confirmed date. Great. I showed up.. not only was the day care dirty but everything was a mess and no one at the desk to greet you or SECURITY!!???? Hello…. Why was I able to just walk in and no adult there. Red flag number 1 , then I looked into where the “classrooms” are …. There’s no ROOMS… it’s one big room with plastic dividers up to separate the class rooms and again it was DIRTY, unorganized. I was there for about 5 minutes and no one came out or to the door nothing … your child can walk out at any time and there’s zero cleanliness. Someone came out after me walking out to apologize for the wait and I told her I’m sorry I can’t send my child here and for the price?! The learning experience is a few hundred more … it’s WORTH IT.

My son and I both love the staff at growing seeds and all they have to offer. They do so many fun projects with the kids everyday and really make learning fun. They provide a safe and loving environment and I never have to wonder if my son is okay. I truly appreciate all of the updates they provide daily through their secure app. They are constantly holding events for the kids and allowing parents to be involved. I could not have asked for a better team for my child. I also really appreciate the family atmosphere the school provides. All of the teachers in the school know my child by name and he feels comfortable with all of them to tend to any issue that may arise. I really cannot say enough good things about growing seeds!!!
