Growing Dandelions

(0 months to 1 year old)

In our Infant Program, we nurture the holistic development of your little ones. The curriculum focuses on fostering social-emotional, physical, language, cognitive, and literacy skills, to ensure comprehensive growth.

Social-Emotional

We focus on fostering infants’ ability to regulate their own emotions and behaviors. Through adult support, they learn to manage their feelings and follow limits and expectations. Infants also develop the skills to establish and sustain positive relationships by forming secure attachments with trusted adults, responding to emotional cues, and respecting others’ expressions.

Physical

Infants are encouraged to demonstrate traveling skills and balance while navigating their surroundings. They also engage in activities to develop gross-motor manipulative skills such as reaching, grasping, and releasing objects, as well as fine-motor strength and coordination through purposeful hand movements.

Language

In our program, infants are immersed in a language-rich environment to support their listening and understanding skills. They show an interest in verbal communication and follow simple directions accompanied by gestures or tone of voice. Infants begin to express their thoughts and needs using vocalizations and gestures, including babbling single consonant sounds and combining them.

Cognitive

We encourage positive approaches to learning in our curriculum, where infants learn to attend and engage with their surroundings. Through repetition and problem-solving activities, they develop persistence and curiosity, using their senses to explore the world around them. Infants also learn to remember and connect experiences, recognizing familiar people, places, and objects.

Literacy

Infants are introduced to the world of literacy through interactive experiences with books and other texts. They develop an appreciation for literature and demonstrate an interest in books, laying the foundation for future literacy skills.
