About Growing Seeds Learning Academy and
The Creative Curriculum®

As passionate early childhood educators, Growing Seeds Learning Academy believes our first commitment is to children—to helping them succeed in school and in life. We partner with you and your children to provide the support and skills needed to succeed, every step of the way. Our academy is one of only 3 in the area certified in The Creative Curriculum®. The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool is a research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a comprehensive way of learning.

Our mission focuses on valuing and responding to a child’s unique developmental and individual needs. We believe that this leads to respectful and responsive caregiving. Meeting all the needs of our students communicates to them that they are important, their needs will be met, and their choices, interests, and preferences are respected. Providing effective teaching and care honors a child’s abilities, skills, needs, and preferences which leads to ultimate success.

As a team, we create fun learning activities and a nurturing environment so that our students enjoy learning and engage with their peers. Our dedicated team has a passion for providing a high quality program that is designed to meet the needs of every child and their families. We strongly believe that the best investments we can make in a child’s life is high-quality early education!

Growing Dandelions

(0 months to 1 year old)

For our Growing Dandelions, our dedicated infant caregivers provide a nurturing environment for our youngest learners. At our facility, we prioritize the safety, well-being, and individualized care of each child during their crucial developmental stages.
Through our primary caregiving approach, we establish trusting relationships with both children and families, ensuring a smooth transition into the world of early childhood education. Our goal is to support the physical, emotional, developmental, and social needs of infants while maintaining open communication with parents and guardians to provide the best possible care.

Growing Sunflowers

(1 year to 2 years old)

We strive to provide safe, nurturing, and quality care for our children during their developmentally-rich first year of life. With our primary caregiving approach, we are able to provide individualized care for the physical, emotional, developmental, and social well-being of all of our toddlers.
Our main goal is to maintain the structure and personalized care of our infants communicated by our parents and guardians to ensure an easy and comforting welcome to the beautiful world!

Growing Lilies

(2 years to 3 years old)

We encourage these skills and more, as they start learning the alphabet, songs, color, paint, and how to eat and drink on their own – at chairs and tables like the big kids!

Growing Daisies

(3 years to 4 years old)

Our Pre-K3 is a structured classroom with teacher-directed activities that prepare the children for Pre-4 & Kindergarten. We provide a weekly themed curriculum, like Space, Animals, etc, along with a daily routine. During circle time, children begin to discuss the theme with their teacher and establish more cohesive thoughts and ideas, as well as their own opinions.
Children at this stage learn through play and are increasingly independent, so the classroom is set-up with various learning centers such as the Science Center, Math Center, Writing Center, and Dramatic Play area. Parents are fully aware of their child’s academic progress through quarterly assessment tools and parent-teacher meetings.

Growing Tulips

(4 years to 5 years old)

Our Pre-K & Kindergarten curriculum introduces several learning concepts such as literacy, math, and critical thinking skills. Vocabulary development is very important at this stage too, as children will begin to learn the art of writing. The classrooms are organized into centers such as reading, science, math, and writing.
Furthermore, children are exposed to a print-rich environment, which allows students to associate written language to oral language. Parents are fully aware of their child’s academic progress through quarterly assessment tools and parent-teacher meetings.

School Aged

(Age K to 13)

The before and after school childcare program provides care for full-day Kindergarten through 13 year old students.
The teachers provide a variety of enrichment activities including games, physical fitness, stories, homework help, and arts & crafts.

Summer & Holidays

(Age K to 13)

Our summer camps allow children from first through fourth grades to explore a variety of interests. Throughout the summer, the children have opportunities to take field trips that stimulate learning and enhance their camp experience.
